  • So... This weekend was incredible. I am now twenty, but It is ok.

    Friday was sorta fast going. I had an interview at Tongs Thai restaurant. That went well. Then at my birthday dinner, as I was talking to people, my mom suddenly looks at me and says, "Chris," in a high pitched way. I look, and at the end of the table Chris is sitting there. He drove all the way from Nashville. So, my weekend had just gotten alot brighter.

    Saturday rolls along, and I am running errands for stuff for my house when Chris calls me , and asks me to go on a picnic with him. We ended up at Nathaniel Greene Park. We ate Keylime Pie, and Sparkling Grape juice. While he was distracting me with other gifts, and I was looking away, I soon looked back, and he was on one knee, and had a ring in a cute hand carved wooden flower. Carved by him of course. And he asked me if I would marry him. I am so shocked... it isn't like we haven't talked about it at all, believe me we have, but he kept telling me that it wouldn't happen for a really long time! So it shocked me, and I asked him if he was serious like 3 times, and then he told me to just answer the question, and I said Yes, I will marry you. And he was so cute, because he was shaking for a long time after that!

    So my weekend was amazing. And yes, I am engaged. I am so glad that I have been praying about this for so long, and that God did answer my prayers! I have a fiancé! It isn't going to happen anytime soon, we think summer 09. But wow. I love you Chris!

    Oh, and today is my birthday, I think the days before this deffinetly overshadow this one, but for the better!
